Message From A Redwood - Patience & Healing

“Be patient

Let the waters of time flow with you.

Let time heal your wounds.

Allow it to wash away any fragmented pieces of pain.

Soak your feet in the rivers of time.

See its clear crystal water washing away the old.

You are at a fork in the road,

Where do you go?

It is up to you.

Which way mends a broken heart.

It may not be the fastest route but it will bring you the most joy.

Have patience. Your world is filling up and up with bubbles of love. They pop into existence as soon as you are ready.”

I have learned that many trees are poets. Their words come out as rhymes and riddles and I enjoy deciphering the message they have to share.

I am reminded to release the past and that of which no longer serves me; old anger, pain and unhealthy thought patterns.

Instead I have the opportunity to take with me all that I have learned from it.

The message from this tree has reminded me to acknowledge my past and to move foreword from it.

I am also reminded to not forget my past. Old memories, thoughts, and feelings are kept with me – at a distance – to keep myself from repeating lessons I have already learned and I do not need to repeat.

The past also helps to regain positive feelings of love, perseverance, strength, and dedication. Even when I am feeling dim in life, I can always look back and pull those feelings out. I do remember how to live. To love. To be brave.

The past holds knowledge, like a library, and I can sift through the pages of my memories.

Another important message I received was to allow myself to heal; allow time and patience to help heal my heart. I can persevere.

And lastly, I am reminded to have faith. Not only in myself but in life; miracles do happen. When I am ready to receive what I most desire and want, it will come.

How? It is going to be a little different for each of us. But for me this means coming into full alignment with who I am and fulfilling my life’s purpose one step at a time.
