A Message From A Redwood
Have you ever taken a hike through a forest and come out feeling absolutely alive?
That probably had something to due with the trees; they are full of life.
Trees have amazing ways to communicate with each other and all different walks of life, including people.
When you are able to become quiet in your own mind the doors of communication open up between you and the trees.
Trees typically communicate strongly through feeling but words too. Connecting to an emotion of a tree magnifies the line of energy between you and that tree.
Thus, you are better able to receive any messages they may have to share with you.
Trees tell stories, sing songs, and relay words of poetry. They are unique individuals with many things to say.
Here is a magical message I received from a grand redwood while having a conversation.
(Italics = words received from the Redwood tree)
Tree: What ails you child?
Aiyana: I am having a hard time listening to my intuition. Sometimes I do not know what is best for myself and I defy my gut feeling.
Why do you do this?
I suppose I feel I need to be in control of everything in life in order for things to workout the way I would like.
Sweet child, that is not how life works. Life is a network of endless possibilities and experiences. Not all of them will be succeeding. You must trust that your inner guidance is helping choose the most nurting path.
Have you been living in your ego? If so, let that false sense of identity go. You are brave little one. A child of the earth and a friend of our mother. (mother earth)
You are in the inner circle.
Once the tree had finished speaking I took a moment to digest what I had justheard.
This experience reminded me that my intuition is always by my side and I am never alone.
I was also reminded that the more connected I am to nature, the more I am in-tune with myself, and vice versa.
So if you have been feeling a lack of self -the who am I feeling- try sitting at the base of a tree you like and let your mind relax. The fresh air and sunshine will revitalize your body and being.
It is not hard but it does take patience. If you do not hear anything do not fret.
Some of us will feel the trees presence, others may see faces in the tree, and some may not feel or see anything. Whatever happens, the tree and you are still together creating a peaceful moment together.
It helps to write down your experience after it happens. This way you can reflect and look back on this magical event.
with warmth,
Aiyana
