Unlocking Your Heart & Overcoming Fear
The heart chakra is one of the most important emotional parts of yourself. This chakra is located in the center of your chest; a doorway to your inner self.
In meditation your heart chakra can appear both as green, a more outside look of your chakra, and pink; the energy within the chakra. If the word meditation frightens or confuses you, that is completely reasonable.
Meditation is a state of being that you can go into to help you connect to a higher state of being. It is in meditation that you unlock your true thoughts, worries, and feelings, etc.
How you really feel can be very scary at times. But that is why it is important to connect to those feelings and not let them block you.
Fear is what holds you back from growing as a person in many different types of ways. Fear can show up unconsciously when you are dealing or facing things in your waking life that may make you feel uncomfortable.
It can also make you feel unprepared for a new chapter of your life. By releasing those feelings of fear, you allow yourself to move forward.
That is why it is very important for you to get to the root of what is bothering and why it is causing you stress, anxiety, agitation, or fear.
For those of us, like myself, you are beginning the emotional and physical process of leaving home. This could be for college, turning 18 and feeling ready to live on your own or any other reason(s) you have to start your own independence.
Moving forward into a new chapter of your life can be a big and overwhelming step, but only if you let it.
Let change come into your life; do not let your fear of the unknown block you from that. Change is new and exciting. It is full of new wonders and exciting experiences. Remind yourself of the reasons why you are making these new decisions.
Tonight, tomorrow, or any time you have to yourself, take a moment to reflect. Close your eyes and take a breath. Remember to ground yourself and ask the questions you have been looking for.
You will find that things you have been searching for come naturally when you let your mind and body relax.
Do this for you. Let go of your worries and fears. Only you can be the one to change your life.
